About This BloG

Reducing the number of cars in Baltimore to give over more of our streets to mass transit priority and safer biking is a challenge we must succeed in to attract the next generation of residents and optimize employment opportunities across our economic spectrum.  By getting involved and sharing our own strategies of how to make biking safer, by demanding the 2006 Baltimore Bike Master Plan be fully implemented and committed to within a reasonable time line by our mayor, and leading by example in the area of traffic ethics, we can make that future unfold.

Topics of discussion will include:

-Safety strategies, route and road improvement suggestions

-Bike riding ethics and manners,

-Biking equipment solutions

-Ways of how to prevent bike theft

-The economics of biking verses car ownership in the city

-Bike Infrastructure Needs

-Mass Transit issues
